Do You Want More Vapor From Your E-Cigarette?

One of the thrills of electronic cigarettes is that you can blow large clouds of vapor with each draw. If you are interested in creating more vapor from your e-cig, this article is for you.

The quest to create more vapor from e-cigs has been ongoing for some time now. Electronic cig manufacturers have come up with various products to allow you create more steam.

One of these products is the sub ohm coil. Just in case you don’t know how vapes work; a heated coil comes into contact with a wick containing the e-juice and this results in vapor. Sub ohm coils have more resistance that high ohm coils; this means it would take a sub ohm coil a longer time to get overheated compared to a high ohm coil using the same power setting. Since sub ohm coils heat up slowly, they tend to create more vapor.

Also, sub ohm coils are made with thicker wires. This means a larger part of the coil comes into contact with the e-juice, creating more vapor. You are likely to find a sub ohm coil on sale if you visit any vape store. Most of the latest vaporizers are built with sub ohm coils.

There is also a question of whether to use single or dual coil tank or cartomizer. Dual coil vapes tend to produce more vapor than their single coil counterparts. They also tend to produce vapor with a richer flavor.

Another thing to consider if you want more vapor from your e-cig is airflow. If you are using a sub ohm dual coil vape, the atomizer is likely to heat up quickly. Using a vaporizer with good airflow is not only going to allow you get more vapor from each draw, but the vapor will also be cooler. On the other hand, using an e-cig with restricted airflow is more reminiscent of the tobacco cigarette experience. While you get less vapor when you draw, the vapor has more flavor and is warm. If you are a heavy smoker and you are turning to vaping, an e-cig with small airflow passages would do the trick for you. It’s best, however, to get a vaporizer with adjustable airflow design and experiment by vaping with the air vents open and close. This way you can find what works for you.

If you are going after more vapor from your e-cig, you need to consider the power capacity of your device. As you know by now, sub ohm coils have more resistance and, therefore, require more power to get heated. One of the criticisms that people have of sub ohm coils is that they need more power and can destroy your vape mod faster. Thankfully, there are many vape mods on the market today with adjustable volts/wattage. This would allow you to customize your vaping experience.

If you are building your own vape, it is important to ensure that your battery can support the resistance of your chosen coil. Also, you need to check how to fix the coil and battery properly to avoid creating an electrical short circuit.

The above points are the main things to consider if you want more vapor from your e-cig. Another thing to keep in mind includes using an e-juice brand with vegetable glycerin instead of propylene glycol. Vegetable glycerin can produce a lot of vapor, but the throat hit is likely to be reduced. There are some e-juice blends with a mixture of both vegetable glycerin and propylene glycol if you want the best of both. Also, you can produce more vapor with the direct lung (DL) vaping technique than mouth-throat-lungs (MTL). You might also want to try that.
