Smok Stick V8 Kit Review

Smok is one of the most popular producers of vape mods in the market so consumers really do have a high expectation for the company. Let’s see how its Stick V8 goes.
The kit comes in its usual, standard box that is covered with the lava or volcanic image of Smok. When opened, you will find inside the box a Stick V8 mod, a TFV8 Big Baby tank, two V8 Baby M2 0.3 ohm coils, spare parts, a user manual, and a USB cable. (Oh by the way, you can grab this set for as low as NZD $59.99 only at https://nzecigstore.co.nz. Be sure to get one while it lasts!)
Although the wattage numbers were not engraved on the stock coils, the consensus from reviewers stands at ‘around 50 watts’. The company did, however, show the coils’ ohm readings, which were 0.15 ohm and 0.25 ohm. Nevertheless, these Baby M2 coils were specifically made for the Stick V8 battery as it gives off a consistent 20 amps discharge. Of note, this is an unregulated mod. This means that as the voltage drops so is the power or wattage.
The mod runs in at 3,000 mAh battery also. This will give you a day of vaping (for average users). With ease and portability in mind, this vape pen has no screen or settings to think about. When I say it’s easy to use, it means you just need to charge it and you are very well ready to vape and go. That simple!
The vape pen has an awesome simple swivel TFV8 Big Baby tank that can be refilled from the top. With this, expect some great clouds that just keeps on coming and some superb flavor from the pipe. It can store up to 5 ml of e-liquid. Mind you, this is can really be a juice guzzler.
But what I like most about this is its ease of use. You really have nothing to worry about anything – from filling to changing the coils or even firing the button or vaping. All is well!
Speaking of quality, Smok always does a pretty clean job. The vape pens connections are smooth and it has a big bottom airflow ring with a good resistance. The Stick V8 bears resemblance to Smok’s Brit One and Vape Pen 22 (if you are familiar with them). It is a bit chubby but still perfectly fits your pocket or bag. Its black and stainless steel color options gives this vape pen a top end look. (The vape pen is also available in rainbow color.) Other than the Smok logo displayed on one side and the Stick V8 writing on the other, it looks refreshing to me.
The charging port can be found on the side. It has a small LED dot that will light on when the pen has been fully charged. This mod also features pass-through vaping, which means you are allowed to vape and charge at the same time. But I highly do not recommend this. The fire button also responds well. It flashes four times each time you puff and 15 times if your voltage is below 3.3 volts (which means you need to charge).
This is a pretty sturdy device and the flavor it gives off is awesome. Although this is introduced as a starter kit (or for beginners), I highly recommend this even to those who want to get into sub ohm vaping. Sub ohm vapers will surely enjoy using this, and it is very perfect for out and about vaping.
Overall, this device is something you should really consider trying. It’s a combination of sophisticated looks, good battery life, crazy clouds, and great vapor. A definite must have I should say, and I really enjoyed this.
A very pleasing, high quality vape pen like this also deserves a premium American made e-liquid from Halo. They offer blends in a variety of flavor like tobacco, menthol, and gourmet or dessert. Tested and crafted to perfection, Halo has four unique blends to cater to your taste buds. Give Kringle’s Curse, Mystic Menthol, Tribeca, and Twisted Turnover a try! All flavors are up for grab at NZ Ecig Store for only NZD $29.99. They are available in multiple nicotine concentration levels. Make sure to secure one before stocks run out!
