Why do I stay so thirsty while I vape?

It is because the e-liquid contains vegetable glycerin which has hygroscopicity function, e-cigarettes so you feel thirsty when e-cigarettes. No worry at all, just drink more water or choose those low-glycerin e-juices.

Details –

Having cottonmouth or becoming dehydrated is an issue that all vapers are dealing with, especially if you are new to vaping this is something that will occur regularly until your bodies get used to the intake of e-liquid.

Now the culprit to blame for all of this lack of moisture is the Propylene Glycol that goes in your e-juice. Another name for this element is that it is a hygroscopic substance (tending to absorb moisture from the air) which basically means that it holds onto the water molecules and keeps your body from absorbing some them. Which can cause the human body to become dehydrated, have cotton mouth and as extreme as having dark circles under their eyes?

There are examples of why this can be good. For example, if you have ever eaten cake and if was made correctly and was moist, that is the Propylene Glycol holding in the moisture and keeping the cake from drying out.

The obvious answer to this dilemma is to be constantly drinking water while you vape, as to avoid this drying out issue. Most nutritionists would happily tell you that you should drink about 8 cups of water a day, that is 64 oz of water, that is about 2 liters. For those who are still not getting the picture…. walk to your kitchen…

WAIT before you go let me finish… then pull out a measuring cup that says 1 cup on it, fill it with water and then drink it. Ok now do this 8 times … this gives you an idea on how much water your body really needs. Understandable for those who have bodies that are not used to getting this amount of high quality H2O, you are going to pee a lot. It will take about 2 weeks for your bladder to be able to absorb that much water.

Below you will find 5 symptoms, and 5 ways to prevent dehydration.
Symptoms of Dehydration

There are a few signs you can watch for to know if your body is dehydrated, here is a list of a few:

1) Oh, No… Oh No…. WHY IS MY URINE BROWN?

If you notice that your urine is yellow or even brown, this is a big sign that your body is dehydrated. The darker your urine, the more dehydrated your body is.

2) Where Did All My Saliva Go?

Another sign of dehydration is a dry mouth. The Propylene Glycol (PG) in your E-Liquid can cause your mouth to dry out very quickly. PG molecules are hygroscopic, which bond with water molecules. When you are vaping water is being drawn out of your saliva due to the PG in your E-Liquid. Not only is water being drawn out of your saliva, but also the surrounding tissue in your throat, mouth, and nose, which causes dry mouth.

3) I’m Not Going To Make It……

Are you feeling tired all the time? If you are this is another sign that your body may be dehydrated. Dehydration causes the body to become lethargic, which leads to you feeling tired.
4) Where The Heck Is My Eye Drops??
Dry eyes is another symptom for dehydration. If you notice that you eyes are dry and itchy all the time, you most likely are a victim of dehydration.

5) The Thirst Is So REAL!

Thirst is one of the main signs of being dehydrated. If you notice that your body is constantly thirsty, then you should know that this is the body’s way of telling you that you are most likely dehydrated. Your body has lost a lot of water and is needing to be replenished.
